Barack Obama, caught up in the fervor of a campaign speech Tuesday, drastically overstated the Kansas tornadoes death toll, saying 10,000 had died. The death toll was 12.Two things about this I want to point out. First, Obama got and/or said this information from some where. Is trying he trying to put this on the same scale as Hurricane Katrina so that it will have equal importance when Bush is blamed for this natural disaster? Or is he just ill-informed?
Second, I have not heard anything about this on the major news stations. Every time Bush says anything that doesn't make sense or displays the smallest appearance of being tongue tied, his intelligence comes into question. But when Obama, the Liberal golden boy, makes a mistake, the media shrugs it off or doesn't even mention it. Whatever happen to the by-partisanship of the media?
